From Zero is the eighth Linkin Park studio album, out November 15, 2024. It is their first record in seven years, and it does not pretend that gap away. This is the comeback record, and it arrives with a changed band: a new co-vocalist, Emily Armstrong, sharing the front with Mike Shinoda, and a new face behind the drums.

That is a lot to put on one album, and From Zero does not hide from any of it. It is a record about returning, and about what returning costs, made by a group deciding in real time who it is now. The title is doing more work than it lets on; sit with it.

“The Emptiness Machine” is the lead single, the song that broke the silence and introduced the lineup in the same motion. Everything the album is about is already there, in the first track they let you hear.
